Booking website
Every account gets a booking website on your own domain name. All your cars are listed on it. Put the link in your ads, your Facebook posts and your WhatsApp replies.
The renter picks a car, books it and uploads their licence and ID from their phone. The booking comes into your bookings inbox. Approve it, and the renter and the rental are created in one click. Nothing to type in.
Returning renters are recognised, so they don’t upload everything again.
Once the rental is created, the renter gets the rental agreement by SMS or email. They read it and sign it on their phone. You hand over the keys and record the car’s condition. When the car comes back, you record the return condition and end the rental.
Compare that with doing it on a spreadsheet: messages, photos, a printed contract and typing it all in. Here you send one link and the renter does most of the work.
Renters log in to see their rental, their payments and what they owe, their documents and their claims. They can report a fault from the portal, and you get an SMS. They can book another car there too.
