Fleet GPS tracking for rental car operators

Our fleet GPS tracking connects your WhatsGPS and IOP GPS trackers to the software you run your rentals in. You see every car on a live map. More importantly, you see how many kilometres each car has done and when its next service is due, while it’s still out on rent.

Pain

You have GPS, but you still don't know the kilometres

Most operators already have trackers in their cars. The tracker app shows a dot on a map. It doesn't tell you how many kilometres a car has done for this rental.

01

You log in to the tracker app and add up daily or weekly totals by hand.

02

Nobody writes down the odometer, so a service gets missed.

03

The car breaks down. You pay for the tow and the repairs.

04

While it's in the workshop, the car earns nothing.

Kilometres per car, and the next service before it’s missed

Your cars are your business. A missed service is how a good car turns into a tow truck bill.

The software reads the kilometres from each tracker. It knows when each car’s next service is due, and tells you while the car is still out with the renter. From there you book the service in maintenance, and the renter is told where and when to take the car.

No tracker in some cars? Record the odometer at handover or import mileage from a spreadsheet instead.

Every car on one live map

Each car on the map is the same car in your fleet list, with its renter and rental next to it. You don’t switch between the tracker app and your records.

  • Geo-zone alerts when a car goes in or out of a zone you set.
  • Offline alerts when a tracker stops reporting.
  • Speeding alerts.

Tell your renters the car is tracked

If your cars have trackers, you must tell your renters. State surveillance laws require it, and the rules differ from state to state. This is not legal advice. Check the rules for your state and get your own advice.
